This spring has brought a LOT of rain.
I wanted to share a super simple recipe I’ve used as a room or pillow (or both!) spray.
I call it sunshine spray because it makes the entire room fill with sweet, but clean citrus smells.
I’ve been searching out and moving towards replacing chemicals in our home with more natural approaches.
- 30 drops orange essential oil
- 20 drops bergamot essential oil
- 15 drops patchouli essential oil
- 1 oz witch hazel
- Fill 4oz glass bottle to top with water. I use these bottles here.
Other essential oils that would add a beautiful pick me up:
- grapefruit essential oil
- lemon essential oil
- citrus essential oil
- Eucalyptus essential
- Rosemary essential oil
Note: Do not use a plastic spray bottle. Essential oils can break down plastic.
Not sure how many drops of essential oils you need? Err on the side of caution. I would recommend 8-10 drops of any oil (or less) if you’re sensitive. You can always add more drops if need or want.
Important Note about Essential Oils. They are not all the same. If you’re interested in learning more about simple cleaning solutions, essential oil, and DIY tips, then let’s connect!
